Which blockchains are supported?
Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Tron, and Sepolia. Token support includes each network's native coin plus USDT on ERC-20, BEP-20, Polygon, and TRC-20.
Who holds my funds?
You do. Bixmerchant is non-custodial. You control the master seed, the keys, and the addresses — payments settle directly to your wallet. No third party can freeze, censor, or touch your funds.
What wallet modes are available?
Three. Auto generates a recovery phrase (shown once) and derives a fresh address per payment. Static reuses a fixed destination address. BYO xpub derives child addresses from an xpub you provide.
How are exchange rates determined?
Invoices are USD-denominated. At payment time, the crypto amount is computed using live CoinGecko rates and locked for the duration of the payment window.
How is a payment detected?
Bixmerchant polls the chain directly — Electrs for Bitcoin-family chains, JSON-RPC for EVM chains, and TronGrid for Tron. A queued job confirms the transaction and completes the payment once it reaches the required confirmations.
Do you support webhooks?
Yes. API-created payments can emit payment.completed, payment.expired, and payment.cancelled. Each delivery is HMAC-signed and retried automatically until acknowledged.
How much does it cost?
There is no platform fee or percentage. Each completed payment deducts one account credit, and credits are purchased in packs. New accounts start with a free allocation.
Is there an API?
Yes. The REST API is mounted at /api/v1 and authenticates with X-API-Key. It can inspect a store and create, list, retrieve, or cancel payment requests. See the documentation for details.
What are the hosting requirements?
PHP 8.3+, PostgreSQL 16, a persistent queue worker, and a scheduler running every minute. A Docker Compose stack is provided for optional self-hosted Bitcoin/Electrs nodes.
